Efstathios Adamopoulos

PhD Student / Engineer

Surveying engineer (2015), with a degree in Protection of Monuments-Conservation of Building Materials (2017). Efstathios is a Research Fellow at the University of Turin’s Department of Computer Science (Technologies for Cultural Heritage program), and collaborates with the lab G4CH since 2018. He is an Expert Member of the International Scientific Committee of ICOMOS CIPA-HD and current representative at the ICOMOS Emerging Professionals Working Group. He specializes in interdisciplinary approaches for heritage documentation, visualization, and conservation-oriented diagnostics. He aims at developing practical methodologies for multi-sensor recording, information fusion, and integrated processing towards more efficient decision-making for cultural heritage preservation.
